We are represening a single-family office from China to identify suitable candidate for the role of Financial Controller for their operation in Singapore and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of all Finance & Accounting responsibilities for the funds and investment products.
- Co-ordinate with internal teams to ensure they are supported with financial information required for all aspects of regular tax compliance and strategy.
- Supervise and review all fund financials’ performance.
- Ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant with absolute regulatory standards.
- Oversee the coordination of annual audit process for all funds, including liaising with auditors, supervising the production and timely distribution of financial statements.
- Lead from a fund finance perspective in relation to portfolio matters and complex transactions.
- Lead and advise management on the finance requirements of establishing and/or operating a fund in Singapore.
- Lead the team to manage cashflow and capital requirements for the funds.
- Work with the group CFO and the finance team in HQ and other regional offices to provide necessary assistance and reporting on financial matters.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or above degree of Accountancy, Business or Economics, preferably specializing in Finance. CA/CPA qualified. CFA and added advantage.
- At least 8 years of experience in investment and asset management.
- A strong communicator, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast growing and entrepreneurial environment.
- Fluent English and Mandarin (Written and Spoken) to liaise with senior management team of other Regional Offices.
- A strong team leader with an aptitude to be hands-on will be ideal for this role.
